Meet Becky

Ms. Becky Cummings is an inspiring educator, accomplished author, and devoted mother of three who believes that every child is a divine little human brimming with curiosity and creativity. Her passion for nurturing young minds shines through in her work as founder of the Free Kids Academy — and as a best-selling children's author whose books have sold more than 500,000 copies.

Before embarking on her journey as an author, Becky founded four successful companies, including Boundless Movement Tutoring. Over the course of a decade, she managed a team of over 10 tutors, empowering more than 100 children to thrive academically. Her dedication to education was further exemplified during her seven years teaching 4th and 5th grade in the Wethersfield Public Schools system in Connecticut, where she inspired students to reach their full potential.

Becky holds a Master's degree from the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut, where she earned dual certification in Special and Elementary Education. She has additional training in Project Adventure and Renzulli's Learning, and a 6th-year certificate from the University of Maine. Through The Magic of Me series and her other titles, Becky's stories give kids the words to believe in themselves. When she isn't writing, you might find her meditating with Joe Dispenza, cruising the beach in her teal Bronco on a mission to find the perfect burrito shop, or salsa dancing in the middle of the classroom.
